About the vapers

In November 2021, delegates from 190 signatory countries will be converging on The Hague, Netherlands, to attend the World Health Organization’s (WHO) Framework Convention for Tobacco Control (FCTC) ninth Conference of Parties (COP9) to discuss ways to further restrict adult consumers’ access to e-cigarettes.

WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO BE HEARD!

The sessions will be held behind closed doors in secret. Delegates are sourced largely from signatory governments’ Public Health departments, all of whom are biased against any tobacco or nicotine-related product, including vape and all other harm reduction devices.

SPEAK OUT!

Despite the undeniable, scientifically proven harm reduction properties of vape and other less harmful alternatives to conventional tobacco products, WHO has chosen to ignore or distort compelling scientific evidence proving vape products are the single most effective gateway away from smoking conventional tobacco on the planet today and is instead pursuing an agenda that will outlaw vape products worldwide.

NOT ON MY WATCH!

WHO is also ignoring its own mandate to pursue harm reduction strategies in its fight against the disease and death caused by smoking tobacco enshrined in the FCTC Charter by seeking to restrict or deny access to far safer vape product to billions of adult smokers worldwide.

This is not how the UN and WHO, supposedly democratic institutions, is supposed to work.

LISTEN TO US TOO!

Nicotine is a naturally occurring alkaloid also found in tomatoes, potatoes, broccoli and many other plants besides tobacco. Long-term nicotine use in the amounts enjoyed by smokers and vapers has not been found to have noticeable negative effects on the health of users, similar in fact to caffeine, its close relative. People smoke cigarettes for the pleasure nicotine gives but many will die from the tar, poisons and carcinogens in the tobacco smoke.

I SWITCHED TO VAPE!

Vaping is a technology that really does have the potential to replace burning tobacco for adults who enjoy the pleasure of nicotine.

LET US VAPE!

WHO and its FCTC bureaucrats need to know that hundreds of millions of adult consumers of tobacco and vape products demand their right to be represented.
